Email notifications and documentation preferences

Zurich has set the default settings for the receipt of new policy documents. For more information, see below.

We are delighted to announce that from today, 25 February, we will begin sending service email notifications to the email address you provided to us. Please note that from today Zurich has set the default settings for the receipt of new policy documents. You can reset these settings at any time. For more information, see below. 

Email Notifications – New Policy Issued: This new email will notify you that a policy has issued on our system. The email will contain the policy number and life (lives) assured name.

Zurich Notification – Policy Transactions: This is a new summary email that will be sent at around 8am each working day. The email will include a summary of the new policies that issued the previous working day and any DD Dishonours, Cash Renewals and Lapses processed on our system on the previous working day.

In order to receive these emails you must login to the Broker Centre. For more information, please view the Broker Communication we issued on 12 February.

Zurich sets defaults for receipt of new policy documents

From today, Zurich has set the default settings as shown in bold text below. If you are happy with the default settings, then no need to take further action.

You can change your preferences, login to the Broker Cenre, go to 'My Profile' then click 'Agent Notification Settings'. Note: The default options set will mean that Zurich will not send you new business documentation in the post, these are available for you to view/download/print from the Broker Centre.

You have two preference choices:

1 – For Protection Business Only
2 - For Pensions, Savings, Investments and Post Retirement Business.

Preferences for New Protection Business (CHOOSE ONE)

  • POST the original documents to my client(s). Copies will be available to view and download on the Broker Centre.
  • I will PRINT the original documents from the Broker Centre and give them to my client(s). Zurich will send copy documents to my client(s). (DEFAULT OPTION).
  • POST original documents to me and I will provide to my client(s). Zurich will send copy documents to my client(s).

Preferences for New Pensions, Savings, Investments and Post Retirement Business (CHOOSE ONE)

  • POST the original documents to my client(s). Copies will be available to view and download on the Broker Centre. (DEFAULT OPTION).
  • I will PRINT the original documents from the Broker Centre and give them to my client(s). Zurich will send copy documents to my client(s). 
  • POST original documents to me and I will provide to my client(s). Zurich will send copy documents to my client(s).
