Prisma 6 is now Prisma Max

We have changed the name of the Prisma 6 Fund to the Prisma Max Fund.

With effect from February 2020, we have changed the name of the Prisma 6 Fund to the Prisma Max Fund.

Why is the name of the fund changing?

As you are aware, we have five Prisma Funds – each one targeting a specific level of risk/volatility. Over the last number of years, there have been times where the higher risk Prisma 6 Fund has actually been categorised as a 5 on the 1-7 ESMA risk scale. Therefore during these times there has been a discrepancy between the ESMA risk category and the name of the fund.

So to help customers to understand the fund, we have taken the decision to rename it as Prisma Max. Prisma Max was chosen as a name as it removes having a particular risk level associated with the fund while at the same time signifying the ‘maximum’ exposure to equities across the Prisma Range.

What does this mean for you?

No action is required by you or your clients. We will still accept any pipeline applications that have selected Prisma 6 as a fund choice, investments will simply be placed in the Prisma Max fund. It is important to note that this is a simply a name change, nothing else regarding the fund is changing.

The Prisma Fund Range is available across the Zurich suite of Pension, Approved Retirement Funds (ARF), Approved Minimum Retirement Funds (AMRF) and Savings and Investment products.

You can find more information on each fund by speaking to your Broker Consultant.
