Big win for Zurich at the European Search Awards

Zurich was crowned winner of Best Use of Search in the Finance category at this year’s European Search Awards, which took place in Kraków on Thursday 8th May.
The European Search Awards recognise and reward companies and agencies that are transforming businesses through innovative and engaging SEO and content campaigns.
The awards are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts and judging is a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.
This year’s entry from Zurich – Bot to the Future: AI’s Impact on Pensions – had a number of primary objectives including: building on strong brand visibility for pensions by improving Zurich’s search presence; increasing organic traffic and improving conversion rates for pension products; and enhancing content production efficiency by leveraging AI to produce high-quality, authoritative content in a shorter timeframe.
To meet the challenge of improved pension-related search visibility, a multi-faceted SEO and AI strategy combining website restructuring, UX enhancements, and AI-driven content creation was implemented.
The judges deemed the strategy a resounding success, and not only did Zurich’s rankings improve, but we were also commended for redefining how financial brands should approach search marketing in an AI-driven era. The winning campaign was not just about winning back visibility; it was about setting a precedent for the future of AI-powered, user-first SEO strategies in finance.

In a very competitive award category, Zurich overcame competition from large brands such as Aviva, Santander and American Express to win the Best Use of Search in Finance.
