Terms and conditions

The Promoter

The promoter is Zurich Insurance Europe AG (Ireland Branch) (the "Promoter").

The Promoter’s registered address is Zurich House, Frascati Road, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, A94 X9Y3.

Eligibility Criteria

This competition ("Competition") is open to entrants who (i) are aged 18 years or over, and resident in the Republic of Ireland ; and (ii) have received, completed and returned a Zurich Experience Survey between 1 June and 31 July 2025 (inclusive).

Terms of Participation

By submitting their Zurich Experience Survey, participants are deemed to have accepted these competition terms and conditions.

The Prize

€250 “Go Anywhere” Gift Card.

The prize is as stated and does not include any other costs associated with taking the Prize. No cash will be offered as an alternative to the Prize.

Closing Date

The closing date for Competition entries is 31 July 2025 at 11.59pm ("Closing Date"). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entry, which due to a technical error or any other reason, is not received or is delayed. Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of delivery. Only fully completed entries which are submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions will be eligible for the Competition. Entries received by any other means (including by hand delivery) will be invalid.

Selection of the Prizewinner

The prizewinner will be selected at random from the eligible entries received before the Closing Date. The selection is final, and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant. The prizewinner will be contacted on or before the 8 August 2025 and will receive their €250 “Go Anywhere” voucher on or before 30 August 2025. The Promoter shall not accept any liability for loss, theft or damage to the voucher.

Miscellaneous

By entering the competition, entrants agree to take part in any associated publicity relating to the competition without further consent or payment where required to do so by the Promoter.

The Promoter shall have no liability to the winner in the event that the winner is unable to take up the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner, should the winner not be in a position to take up the prize.

The Promoter shall not be responsible for any matter arising out of or resulting from the enjoyment of the Prize. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for the acts or omissions of third parties.

The Promoter shall not be liable to any entrant or the prizewinner or any accompanying individual for any loss or damage howsoever caused, whether direct, indirect or consequential arising out of or in connection with the Competition and/or any Prize other than death or personal injury caused by negligence of the Promoter and/or the Promoter's respective personnel and/or deceit or fraud by the Promoter and/or the Promoter's respective personnel.

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, or amend the Competition or the terms and conditions of the Competition with no liability to any entrant, prizewinner or any third party.

The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value should the advertised Prize become unavailable for any reason or where circumstances dictate.

The prizewinner (and any person to whom a Prize is transferred by a prizewinner) will be bound by the terms imposed by any third parties providing services as part of the Prize.

The following terms which are used in the terms and conditions have the following meaning: the term "we" or "us" means the Promoter; "you" "your" or "entrant" means a person who participates in the Competition under the terms and conditions of the Competition; "entry form" is the form produced by the Promoter in connection with the Competition; and "prizewinner" means a person who wins a prize under the terms and conditions of the Competition.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Competition shall be dealt with exclusively by the Courts of Ireland.

Data Protection Notice

This notice explains the most important aspects of how we use your personal data in relation to the Competition and what rights you have in relation to your personal data. You can view our full Privacy Policy at www.zurich.ie/privacy-statement or request a copy of it (or a copy of the personal data that we hold) by writing to the Data Protection Officer, Zurich Insurance Europe AG (Ireland Branch), PO Box 78, Wexford.

Identity of the Data Controller: The data controller responsible for this Competition is Zurich Insurance Europe AG (Ireland Branch) as the Promoter of the Competition. It is the responsibility of the prizewinner to familiarise themselves with the privacy policy of relevant third-party providers.

What information we collect and what we use it for: We will only make use of and process the personal data of the entrants and prizewinner (which includes your contact details, email, and telephone number) for the purpose of the Competition.

Legal grounds for processing for the Competition:  By participating in the competition, you consent to the processing of the personal data which you provide to us in connection with it, in accordance with these terms and conditions. The Promoter relies on the legal ground of consent in order to process the personal data of the entrants and the prizewinner for the purposes of the Competition. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Who we share your information with: The personal data of the prizewinner (name and email address) will be used by the Promoter who will issue the prize for this Competition.

In accordance with the Code of Standards for Advertising and Marketing Communications in Ireland, the name of the prizewinner will be available for a period of one month after the Closing Date of the Competition. This can be requested by sending a stamped addressed envelope denoting the offered competition prize to the Promoter at the following address: Zurich Insurance Europe AG (Ireland Branch), PO Box 78, Wexford.

How long we keep your personal information for: All entrants’ personal data is processed strictly for the purposes of the Competition. The personal data of the prizewinner may be retained by us for a period of up to 12 months from the Closing Date of the Competition.

Your rights: You have various rights in relation to your personal data, including the right to: request access to it; correct any mistakes on our records; erase or restrict records if they are no longer required; and withdraw consent, where applicable. Although you have the right to object to the use of your personal data, a successful objection may have consequences (e.g. prevent us from processing and/or administering your Competition entry and you may not be able to claim any prize that you may otherwise be entitled).
