Gold Fund
The Gold Fund is a unit-linked fund that gives you the opportunity to gain exposure to movements in the price of gold. The fund currently invests in an Exchange Traded Certificate (ETC) managed by Invesco. The Invesco ETC aims to track the spot price of gold in US dollars, but may not track it exactly. A currency risk arises for a euro investor.

How it works
The fund aims to track the performance of gold. The fund currently achieves this by investing in Invesco Physical Gold ETC, an Exchange Traded Certificate (ETC) which is managed by Invesco Physical Markets PLC (Invesco PMP). Each gold P-ETC is a certificate which is secured in gold bullion.
This ETC tracks the gold spot price and is backed by physical gold. It has been designed to provide investors with a return equivalent to movement in the gold spot price, less fees.
A currency risk arises for a euro investor.
