Employee health and wellbeing

Zurich has developed a global holistic Wellbeing Framework that provides our people with the tools and resources needed to stay healthy and empowered. Supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees is paramount. 

Employee skill development

Continuous learning and upskilling for employees is important to us at Zurich and we encourage staff to avail of training and learning opportunities provided both internally and externally.

Employee assistance programme

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a core part of our wellbeing supports. We encourage everyone to use the service not just during times of difficult life events, but as a means of building up mental fitness and resilience throughout the year.

Tackle Your Feelings

Tackle Your Feelings is designed to empower people to take responsibility for their mental health and wellbeing. Zurich employees have engaged with the campaign by participating in webinars and events. There is a mobile app and other useful guides to help employees look after their wellbeing on a day-to-day basis.

Throughout the year we run events and webinars for employees to help our people manage their mental and physical health and wellbeing. 

Workplace by Facebook

Staying connected to each other is central to Zurich, and in order to facilitate collaboration and connections across our business, we have introduced Workplace by Facebook as an online collaborative tool that facilitates online groupwork, instant messaging, video conferencing, and news sharing.


Tax Saver Travel passes are available to employees to support the reduction in the use of personal transport and a number of our company cars are electrical and hybrid models.

Physical wellbeing

Looking after your physical wellbeing is just as important as other aspects of wellbeing. Zurich employees can avail of annual flu vaccinations, bi-annual health screening, as well as health insurance subsidies.
