Zurich Insurance sponsors Wexford GAA
Zurich Insurance in Ireland is the main sponsor for Wexford GAA. The sponsorship deal ran for an initial four-year period year from 2020 and was renewed in 2023 for a further 4 years. The sponsorship will provide very important support to Wexford GAA in the coming years and will further embed Zurich, a very significant employer in Drinagh, Wexford, in the local sporting community. Bloomsday in Blackrock
Each year, Zurich sponsors the annual Bloomsday event, a celebration of the life of Irish writer James Joyce, which takes place in Blackrock village. A live performance of James Joyce’s Ulysses takes place at the Blackrock Village Cross on the day. This free to attend event features a performance, titled ‘A play on Ulysses’ with professional actors, along with singers, musicians and dancers – who join together to provide an entertaining insight into James Joyce’s Ulysses.
