Zurich win three awards at the 2026 bonkers.ie awards

Zurich was delighted to have been recognised at the 2026 bonkers.ie awards winning: Best Car Insurance Provider, Best Term Insurance Provider and Best Community or Charity Engagement for Tackle Your Feelings.

The three awards highlight our dedication to providing excellent value to our customers while making a meaningful contribution to the community. The awards were announced at a black-tie ceremony on Thursday 26th February 2026 in the Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin.

In a very competitive award category, Zurich Ireland emerged as the winner of Best Term Insurance Provider.

We’re immensely proud of this achievement, and it strengthens our determination to continue supporting customers and distributors with products and service they can rely on,” Michelle Leacy, Sales Director at Zurich said.

The Best Car Insurance Provider was also a competitive category with AIG, An Post and Aviva shortlisted. We were delighted to win this award given the high calibre of competition Zurich faced.

Tackle Your Feelings is a mental wellbeing campaign, run by Rugby Players Ireland (RPI) in partnership with Zurich Ireland with the support of the Z Zurich Foundation. It aims to reduce the stigma around mental health and provide people with the tools and resources to be more proactive in looking after their emotional wellbeing.

We are very proud of the work we do with Tackle Your Feelings (TYF), so to be awarded Best Community or Charity Engagement is testament to the excellent work TYF do championing youth mental health in Ireland.

The award categories are judged by bonkers.ie and a panel of industry experts with entrepreneur, broadcaster, and former ‘Dragon’ Bobby Kerr chairing the judging panel.
