Padhraic Moran
3rd March 2017
It was with deep regret, profound sadness and shock that we learned our colleague and friend Padhraic Moran died tragically following a serious road accident on Wednesday evening.
Padhraic worked for Zurich for over 11 years and to a person, we are all devastated by this loss.
His bubbly infectious humour and smile captivated everyone he came in contact with. The thoughts and words of so many, who were both his work colleagues and friends, that have been shared over the past two days, speak volumes of the man's character and tell their own story of just what a significant role he played in all our daily lives.
To us all, he was not just someone we worked with but indeed, a real true friend with the kindest and most generous heart that many of us have ever encountered.
His professionalism, integrity and wonderful sense of humour were evident each day to his Zurich colleagues and our broker business partners.
It has left every one of us extremely proud and honoured that we got to share so much time with such a true gentleman.
Padhraic, such a proud Kerry man, will always be in our thoughts and part of the Zurich family.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Anne, his mum Mai, sister Kerry, brothers Diarmuid, Peter and Micheál and all his family at this sad time.
